Bruce is originally from Georgia and attended college at Savannah College of Art and Design as well as Silicon Valley College. He has two AMAZING parents and is the oldest of two children.

Kathleen (Kat) is from Seattle Washington and attended Sonoma State University and CSU Los Angeles. Kat also has two AMAZING parents, and is the youngest of 3 children.

Bruce and Kathleen meet back in 2001 (or 2002 – they are not great with dates). Kat was 21 when the two met and Bruce was 22. Both wanted to experience all that life had to offer and they decided to take that journey together. The two moved to Los Angeles, CA and set off to make a life for themselves!

Bruce works as a Systems Network Administrator and has also worked as an Associate Producer for Electronic Arts. Kat finished her Masters Degree in Forensic Social Work and now teaches Criminal Justice and Psychology part time and takes care of their daughter Ella Gray!

Bruce enjoys riding and working on mopeds and making music in his spare time, and Kat enjoys reading, catching up on much needed sleep and cooking.

They live in Altadena, California, minutes away from Los Angeles proper, and live in their house with their daughter Ella Gray, son, Bastio Xavier, 4 chihuahuas: Merl, Maxwell, Meg and Blue, and a Sulcata desert tortoise named Morla. They used to have an amazing feral kitty named Marley, who was killed in early 2009 by a coyote.

The two believe in living life to the fullest, and being happy. While stuck in traffic, Kat often says to Bruce, “well, at least we get more time together!” They know that there is always something good to come out of every situation if you are just willing to see and look for it. They made this blog to help keep family and friends abreast of all the crazy times going on in their lives. ENJOY!
